Ebi Bright, the 2024 National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Tema Central, has officially been confirmed as the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly.
She received a strong endorsement from the assembly members, securing 28 votes in favour and only three against, according to a report by citinewsroom.com. Her confirmation makes her the first female mayor of Tema.
Before entering public service, Ebi Bright was well known as an actress and media personality. Her transition into politics saw her quickly rise within the ranks of the NDC, earning recognition for her charisma, communication skills, and dedication to public service.

Road Rehabilitation: Manhean to Bankuman Corridor Asphaltic overlay works have been completed along the road from Manhean School Junction to Bankuman, significantly improving connectivity, reducing transit times, and supporting local businesses and commuters.
