Profile of MCE -Pru East
Abdul Nasir Dauda, popularly known as Borga Nash, was confirmed as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Pru East following his nomination by President Mahama. His confirmation received overwhelming support from Assembly members signaling strong institutional confidence in his leadership.
The Assembly has initiated four key projects. The Yeji Market Redevelopment aims to upgrade the central market with improved sanitation, drainage, and vendor facilities to boost local commerce. The Kadue Water Extension Project seeks to expand access to potable water in underserved communities, directly addressing long-standing concerns of neglect.
The Parambo-Sawaba Road Rehabilitation focuses on reshaping feeder roads to enhance transport and trade for farming communities. Lastly, the Youth Skills and Enterprise Hub in Abease is designed to provide vocational training in agribusiness, carpentry, and digital literacy, empowering unemployed youth and fostering economic growth.
