About Ekumfi Municipal District
The Assembly has spearheaded several impactful projects. In education, he oversaw the rehabilitation of classroom blocks in communities like Narkwa, Asaman, and Adansi, transforming them into modern learning spaces with libraries, offices, and sanitation facilities.
Under the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project, he led efforts to reclaim 40 hectares of degraded land in Asaman and Attakwa, planting 6,600 coconut seedlings. This initiative not only promotes environmental sustainability but also created jobs for 193 unskilled workers.
Infrastructure development has also been a priority. A 3.5-kilometer feeder road from Adansimaim to Gyabenkwa was rehabilitated, improving access and boosting local commerce. The project engaged 87 laborers and addressed long-standing transportation challenges.
In social welfare, the assembly disbursed GHC 112,600 from the Persons with Disabilities fund, empowering vulnerable residents with resources to improve their livelihoods. Two students were also awarded scholarships to pursue tertiary education at Cape Coast Technical University, reflecting his commitment to human capital development.
