Hailing from New Bakpa, Hon. Dodzie began his journey in education, graduating from Kpando Senior High School before continuing to Ada College of Education. Between 1995 and 1998, he taught in basic schools and later pursued tertiary studies in Building Technology and Quantity Survey at Ho Polytechnic.

Projects
Among the district’s flagship interventions is the flood resilience and resettlement project, launched in response to the Akosombo Dam spillage. This initiative involves coordinated planning and site development aimed at relocating affected residents in areas like Old Bakpa, Mafi Devime, and Dorgbadzikope. The district is focused on creating sustainable housing solutions that restore safety and dignity.
Diistribution of thousands of bags of fertiliser under the local implementation of the Planting for Food and Jobs initiative. Educational outreach programs supporting climate-smart agriculture and digital financial literacy are also being extended to farming communities, helping to modernize agricultural practices and improve yields.
The push toward youth development has led to plans for a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) campus in the district. This future institution is envisioned as a beacon of opportunity, providing practical skills aligned with industry needs to equip the next generation of professionals and entrepreneurs.
Environmental stewardship is another priority under Hon. Dodzie’s administration. Tree planting exercises and climate change sensitization campaigns have been actively promoted, with bushfire prevention education reaching several communities. These programs are building a culture of responsibility and resilience in the face of environmental challenges.
Through it all, Hon. Dodzie’s leadership remains grounded in problem-solving, collaboration, and long-term vision. His ability to navigate challenges and chart decisive paths forward has made him a respected figure throughout the district. With continued emphasis on inclusive development, education, and sustainability, his tenure is setting a strong foundation for Central Tongu’s future.
