Hon. John Evans Kumordzi currently serves as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Akuapim North.
A native of Okuapemman, born and raised in the district, he carries deep roots and an authentic connection to the community. His father hails from the Volta Region while his mother is from Akuapem, making his heritage a blend that reflects the diversity within the municipality.
He pursued his basic education in Akuapem and went on to serve as a police CID in the area, later establishing local businesses that have employed many youth, especially in Akropong. Kumordzi entered the political arena as an NDC parliamentary candidate for Okere in 2020, where he performed remarkably.
