Ablekuma North MCE - Hon. Adamu Musah Kalamu.
The current Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ablekuma North is Hon. Adamu Musah Kalamu. He was officially introduced to the management staff of the Assembly in May 2025. He has also paid courtesy calls on traditional leaders within the municipality, including visits to various palaces to seek their involvement in the Assembly's work.

From Drainage to Classrooms: Transforming Ablekuma North
Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly is one of the twenty-nine districts in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Originally part of the larger Accra Metropolitan District, it became a separate municipality on 15 March 2018 Centrally located in the region, its administrative capital is Darkuman Kokompe.
In recent years, the Assembly has initiated several impactful development projects aimed at improving infrastructure and public services:
-Drainage and Flood Control Choked gutters in Odorkor, Kwashiebu, and Sakaman have been de-silted. Additionally, new culverts and gutters are being constructed in Kwashiebu to enhance stormwater flow. The construction of a drainage system along Owuley Street is also underway to address recurrent flooding and improve sanitation.
Road Safety Enhancements Speed bumps have been installed in high-risk areas like Nyamekye and Sakaman to reduce vehicular accidents and promote pedestrian safety.
Healthcare Infrastructure A new polyclinic building has been completed, including gravel work on its forecourt, which improves both functionality and access to healthcare.
Education Facilities: An 18-unit classroom block at the Kwashieman Cluster of Schools has been completed, providing a safer and more conducive learning space for students.
